*SunRail ticket prices for one-way and round-trip options are non-refundable and remain valid for the day of purchase.

**Upon request by the SunRail conductor or fare inspector, seniors and youth must show proof of age with a government-issued valid ID. Acceptable forms include driver’s license, passport, Medicare card, State ID, or LYNX/Votran youth ID. SunRail 50% reduced fare discounts are applied to tickets and passes for qualifying individuals and cannot be combined with other reduced fares discounts.

*** Children 6 and under ride free with one paid accompanying adult. Limit 3 children per adult.

Where to Buy

Easily get your one-way or round-trip SunRail ticket from our Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs), available at each of the sixteen (16) SunRail Stations and all ADA accessible. TVMs accept cash, credit/debit cards, and digital wallets (e.g. Apple Pay®, Google Pay®, Samsung Pay®, etc.), making it convenient for you to buy a single ticket or multiple tickets for your journey.

Boarding the Train

  1. Locate a validating unit on the station platform.
  2. “Tap On” by holding the ticket close to the validator screen.
  3. The screen will prompt you when it has accepted the ticket.
  4. Keep your ticket for when you exit the train.

Arrival at Station

  1. Locate a validating unit on the station platform.
  2. “Tap Off” by holding the ticket close to the validator screen.
  3. The screen will prompt you when it has accepted the ticket.
  4. Keep your ticket if you are in the middle of a round trip.

Train/Bus Transfers

SunRail has partnered with LYNX and Votran to make Train to Bus transfers simple and cost-efficient.

LYNX/Votran to SunRail

  1. Enter the SunRail Station using pedestrian entrance signs.
  2. Locate a TVM and touch the TVM screen.
  3. Select either LYNX or Votran Transfer from the screen.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

SunRail to LYNX/Votran

  1. Exit the SunRail Station using the pedestrian exit signs.
  2. Present your SunRail ticket or SunCard to the LYNX/Votran bus driver.
